NUTTY CONES!!!
Gotta try the "nutty cone" vanilla soft serve in a cone topped with macadamia nuts finely chopped
You can get cones in a small or large size.
The one I have pictured is small.
I've heard the chilli here is also tasty.
They have a drive through which is very convenient, as well as a walk up - pick up option
There is ample parking on site as well.
Edit: If you are looking for healthy drive through options they offer a grilled chicken plate (usually can sub a side for a small green salad) or a grilled chicken salad add crispy bacon. Also love the breakfast bento.
Popular and usually has a long line whenever it is open because it has a great diverse menu with lots of local favorite dishes. I got the breaded Ahi special and it came with rice and macaroni salad. It was a large portion and tasted good. We tried the turkey bacon wrap and it was super affordable and a great healthy option that I highly recommend! They do have a peanut allergy warning on their window stating they do have peanuts in some of their items. Most diverse drive through menu in Hilo I would say!
This place is really great for a little fast food restaurant. I couldn't believe the speed of service was so quick. I'm guessing most of the food needs to be pre-made. It was really good in my opinion. Better and healthier than McDonald's. The fries were really good too I couldn't stop eating them and they weren't even for me. Highly recommend for a quick meal similar to a fast food experience but for local people.
We only stopped for ice cream. The building is very dated. The dipped nutty cone wasn’t that great. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu looks to have a variety, but we only got ice cream
Cosmic Cones has the best katsu in town. Knowing the week # for the specials is a guessing game but no worry there's always something ono on the menu.
Stopped for some soft serve, that was okay. Between us all, we tried a dipped cone, melon freeze and an Eclipse. They also have food which we did not try. As for the ice cream, it was fine, but nothing special. I would stop just because they have a cool name and their menu items have fun names
my fave place for beef stew. if you looking for some local kine, home cooking then this is the one! everything they have is good & the service is quite fast. try it out, you won't be sorry
Love this local favorite!! Make sure to try a sprinkle cone with your burger and fries.
